Lucia Pescador

Come rondini sul filo

Sunday December 15 2019
only between 10:30 and 12:30 AM

Drawings, films and objects gathered in life’s flow are placed on the long tables like swallows on a wire.

Lucia Pescador was born in Voghera on 9 February 1943. She graduated from the Brera Academy in Milan and then started teaching in the Arts High School in that same city. Since ever she has set her attention to drawing on a variety of papers. Her work develops around themes of Art, Nature, and Culture. In the nineties she began collecting images in a series she has titled "Left-handed Inventory of the Twentieth Century". It is presented in wall settings of photographs, drawings, blackboards, and objects named "crossroads".
Her art has been exhibited in private galleries, art fairs, museums since 1965, in group shows and hundreds of single exhibitions in Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, England, Austria, Germany, United States, Egypt, India and Cina.

That which flows scatters remnants that are ready to germinate: in new transitions, or in signs, at times in symbols, though always received with a yearning for reunion. Donata Negrini
