The works exhibited here are part of the cycle of great many works on paper completed during the last two years.
Drawn maps, traces, fragments and outlines - tomes - mark an itinerary, a path, through the cosmos to reach the limit of the uncreated.

Federico Borroni was born in Recanati in July of 1991. Lives and works in Venice, Italy. Studied painting in Italy and Belgium and graduated from the Fine Arts Academy of Venice in 2015/16. Currently he is a tutor there in the Extramedia Techniques Department. Starting in 2010 his work has been exhibited in single and group exhibitions.
Selected awards: Amia Premio Marche, Forte Malatesta, Ascoli (2018), Dipingere la notte, Stanze comunali, Lariano - Roma (2019).

Almost like a beat embodied in the fragile materiality of paper, the weft of color intercepts movement at its birth and projects it beyond the ephemeral appearance of density. Donata Negrini
