The Favelas/Public Housing exhibition is a social and architectural metaphor for people and cities. Each person is simultaneously a home. The ceramic work "Habitation Blocks” aims to reproduce a group of people or public housing. The elements alone are individuals; together they form a community.

Marcelina Braga was born in Trairi, Brazil, in 1977. She moved to Italy in 2001 and graduated from the Brera Academy in Painting and Visual Arts in 2016. She lives and works in Milan.Among her exhibitions are the group show at Galleria Sudo in 2025, the artist residency with a group show at Via Farini in Milan in 2024, and the 2021 participation in the Artist Studies Festival in Nolo (Milan). In 2016, she participated in the Suzzara Prize.

"Relationships arrange themselves in shapes and figures, their meaning matures in black and white correspondences, like the banks of a shared flow." Donata Negrini
