Two works painted in January 2019
One is a painting from the Color Crowd group. It's a rectangular canvas completely filled with images and forms painted with oil paint. The other is part of the Cuttings group: a sheet of thin plywood is painted front and back with acrylic paint. It is cut in pieces and after a hole is drilled in every part, the parts are hung on one single nail one over the other.

Lucio Pozzi was born in Milan in 1935. He lives and works in Hudson NY and Valeggio s/M VR. He has been teaching art all his life and his works in paint, installations, actions and video have been exhibited in many parts of the world. Occasionally, he writes about art.

That which surfaces as form emerges from a space that doesn't repudiate a dialogue with the void, but preserves it and defines it up front as an evidence of resonance. Donata Negrini
