Arthur Duff was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, in 1973. After having lived in the USA, birthplace of his parents, in Korea, Germany and Japan, he settled in Italy. Now lives and works in Vicenza. Since the late 1990’s he participates as a visual artist in the Italian and International art scene. In 2010 he wins the 2% competition with the project Rope, at the MACRO of Rome. In recent years he has completed several urban scale projects among which one for the exhibition Transparency (Arthur Duff, Jenny Holzer, Julian Opie, Jaume Plensa, Stephan Reusse, Ulla Rauter) Public Art in Prague, Czech Republic, in 2009. He teaches multimedia techniques and is in charge of the Sculpture Workshop at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Perugia.
